What license is the Stack Exchange API released under? MIT?
Thanks for the clarification. I see there are some other Q&A type systems available so will look into using these for the web app.

What license is the Stack Exchange API released under? MIT?
So if a web app (subscribers to pay) needed a question/answer/discussion system (centred around specific resources made available to its subscribers) could it use the Stack Exchange API to provide this? I'm a non-dev and am a little unclear as to the implications. Thanks.
