It would be interesting to see a version of this script that implements the suggestion in this feature-request - i.e. add a gold-badge symbol, or the current hammer symbol, to the Vote to Close button that actually enacts the closure.
DOIs are Digital Object Identifiers and they're the main ID of research papers, so you can link to, say, dx.doi.org/10.1088/0953-4075/48/15/151001, and it is the persistent identifier of the paper. It would be nice to get much the same information as in the arXiv onebox - title, authors, nicely-formatted bibliographic citation, abstract, and link to the paper. I'm not sure it's trivial, though.
Manish, I'm having trouble getting this to work lately. Firefox 43.0.4 with Greasemonkey and Chrome 47.0.2526.106 with Tampermonkey both show no buttons at all on the editor (ubuntu 14.04). I don't really use it much anymore but it would be good to spiff the ad back up - if the script is still working.
