For Stack Exchange in general: I normally wait at least 1 week + 1 day (8×24h) before I accept answers (assuming they're definitive), to allow for people to post multiple good answers. Also, I'm not always online, so please bear with me in that regard.

Note that for the Esperanto Language subsite, I have decided to wait at least 15 days (15×24h) before accepting an answer as the correct one, in order to give a larger number of people the chance to answer my questions.
