Stack Exchange network consists of 183 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
Trying to authorise StackAlert, I get stuck at a popup which advises "This app needs these permissions ..." and tells me that "You need to login to authorize this application". I'm already logged into StackExchange in a different browser tab. Logging out then back in doesn't help. What else should I try?
