We have this nicely formatted toolbar with all of the moderation tools we need below questions:
So, why is it that the separator that goes along with the new comment format looks like this?
This is a simple fix that removes the extra space between the separator and the comment buttons and makes the separator the same color as the standard separator. This may have a different impact depending on the site.
For example, on Stack Overflow, it looks like this:
However, on Meta Stack Exchange, it looks like this:
In any case, it will match the styling of the default toolbar for each particular site because it uses the SE-defined class for the toolbar separators. I haven't tested it across the entire network, so let me know if you come across anything peculiar: what I've created here is a very minimal fix.
