About: This application is a research project exploring more effective ways to discover and interact with knowledge on Stack Overflow. It provides a unified interface for searching for content and allows authenticated users to perform actions such as upvoting or commenting directly via the API. This app is intended for research and non-commercial use.

Features:

  • OAuth 2.0 login using Stack Exchange
  • View questions and answers from Stack Overflow
  • Upvote answers and questions (requires user authorization)
  • Post questions and answers after the user reviews them and confirm
  • Google OAuth 2.0 support for app login (optional)

How it works:

  • User will chat with LLM as they do as usual, then the tool will suggest corresponding helpful posts and suggest possible action to user
  • It will not spam the community, every action will need the user to review and confirm

Many sites (including Stack Overflow) have prohibited AI generated content. This sounds like it will post AI content on said sites. Additionally, sites which allow AIGC require it to be referenced. Do you plan to follow these guidelines? Commented Nov 7 at 15:20
  • Yes, I will follow these guidelines. I also disagree with posting answers directly from AI, but I think answers that come from the user discussing with the LLM, with the LLM concluding, and the user then proofreading it, are a possible way. It is also part of my study on investigating which level of AI involvement in the answer is acceptable to most users. Commented Nov 7 at 16:20

Even if the user proofreads the answer, it is still prohibited. The answer must be entirely written by a human. If the user, after solving the problem (with or without the help of AI) writes an answer on their own, unassisted by AI, then it can be posted. Otherwise, it violates the AI policy. • Sure, I will take good care of this, as the app does not serve only the Stack app; it will also connect to other online platforms. I will avoid allowing users to post such an answer through the app. Commented Nov 9 at 8:18
