As part of a recent experiment, two new chat rooms are open to any logged-in users, regardless of reputation or privileges.
The new rooms are:
I believe reducing barriers to entry is a positive step. However, we've observed that new users are sometimes unfamiliar with the network's rules and norms. This userscript aims to help by providing a set of template replies and messages, making it easier to guide them.
Once installed, a button called "Lighthouse..." appears next to the "Send" button in these new chat rooms. Clicking it opens a popup with a list of messages. Simply click on the desired one to paste it into the chat textarea. Please note, this does not support multi-line messages.
You can also customize the messages and create your own templates using this pattern:

Body of the message...
I have also included Sandbox Rooms in the userscript, in case you'd want to test the functionality of your custom messages.
Installation
Click to install with a script manager. N.B. I have only tested this with Tampermonkey on Firefox.
