Unemployed developer currently not looking for work. Researching the lastest technologies, the coolests apps, both desktop, web and mobile and the latest looks. Seeing if what's out there were spark my imagination for something prboably small but useful unique.
Focusing on Windows 8 Developer Preview Metro Apps as well as server apps (ASP.NET, etc on IIS). But not that stuff only.
Fascinating by social networking from many standpoints.
Still working on a website. Developing of the Windows 8 Developer's Preview has been a little bit hairy at time but I actually love living on the cutting edge for some reason.
Used to be a desktop application developer and worked for Broderbund and Riverdeep -- Primarily Printshop pro. I see the confluence of technolgies, ideas, social networking etc as a possible avenue to some really cool ideas (we already have some cool things like Twitter and Diaspora.
For music some of the neat things out there include last.fm with its support for custom Scrobbler. Spotify which integrates nicely wtih last.fm, also support community add-on to its app to enhancce functionality. An as a nice place to store you current music collection for free, there's Google Music which allows you to upload up to 20,000 of you own tracks in additions to buying music. The only thing it lacks is good social integration.
