I am the former Director of IT for a Pharmacy. I love working with databases. I have seen very well thought out ones and ones where it looked like they said, "Oh, there's space over there. Just shove it in the corner and be done with it." Although I am a student of T-SQL I am becoming rather proficient in Firebird SQL.

I also love to find elegant and efficient solutions to problems. My hands hurt a lot from some for, of degenerative condition so the less amount of typing I have to do to get the job done so much the better. I have discovered interesting ways to use CURRENT_DATE in Firebird SQL. Who knows? I may just answer your question or you may answer mine.
