I am a highly trained Information Technology Professional with over 15 years of diverse technological experience, including leadership. Over the last ten (10) years, my practical focus has been on Java-related technologies - building enterprise-standard applications, particularly REST APIs. I currently work as a Java Architect where my day-to-day tasks may involve performing core Java development using the Spring/Spring Boot Framework; implementing Spring Data JPA/Hibernate and JDBC for connecting to MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB or Cassandra databases; writing SQL scripts and PL/SQL programs; or performing Test-Driven Development with JUnit, Mockito and other frameworks. In my previous role, I worked as a full-stack developer where I was, in addition to carrying out the above-mentioned tasks, responsible for developing front-end interfaces using Angular 8/9, Typescript, Javascript, CSS/Bootstrap and HTML. I have work in a fast-paced AGILE environment and possess a strong background in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design. I have acquired experience in developing microservices using Spring Cloud and Netflix Eureka platforms; implementing Spring JWT Roles-based security, and integrating Swagger UI into my application to document, expose and test REST APIs.
