Stack Insight - Track your tag usage over time

##Screenshot

Coming soon (Just click the link below until then!)

##About

I'm interested to see how my interest in different tags has evolved over the past couple of years ... so I've written Stack Insight.

Just enter your username on the web page and you'll see a couple of views on how your interest (asking or answering a question) and authority (the communities votes on your answers) have changed over time.

###License

Free

###Url

http://heathtest.com

###Platform

Modern web browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome, ...)

##Contact

Feel free to post suggestions and feedback for me here.

##Code

JavaScript, JQuery, Drastic Data Tree Map, Google Motion Chart

Just 'view source' to see the JavaScript. It's all in the single stack.js file.

##Outstanding Issues

  1. Currently only one page (30) of questions and answers is pulled back from each site. I need to keep making API requests to pull back all pages.
  2. Currently users are looked up by their username over all sites and the email hash is checked to ensure the users represent the same person. This needs to be moved to the new StackAuth API to provide much more flexibility.
  3. Username lookup is case sensitive - thanks for reporting this Farseeker

If people find this useful / interesting then I'll address these over the next couple of days.

Thanks Jeff & Team - the API is great.

Updates

  • v0.2 (26th June) - Update for API 0.9
  • v0.1 (24th June) - Initial release
