About

This script allows a user to hide answers on a post, both from the answer itself or from a central box at the top. This might be helpful when reading responses to questions like What can be cut away, and why? by Slate on MSE. It includes an option to save the list of hidden answers in localStorage. I created it as Slate (CM) thought it would be helpful, but anyone can use it.

License

This userscript is under the MIT License.

Platform

This is intended for use with a desktop browser (I use a recent version of Firefox). Specifically, it should work on Chromium-based browsers and Firefox with Tampermonkey. It may work on mobile, but that's neither tested nor supported.

Contact

I (cocomac) wrote this script following this chat message from Slate (CM) in the SOBotics chatroom. Feel free to post answers/comments on this post. I'm also available in chat.

Code

I wrote this in JavaScript (for Tampermonkey). Feel free to give suggestions. I host the code in a GitHub repo.
