I am in need of using stack overflow apithe Stack Overflow API for my website. I've gone through the documentation and I got the apiAPI key, and client credentials. But my question is, iI am able to send my question through the endpoint of stack overflowStack Overflow like this:

"https://api.stackexchange.com/2.2/search/advanced?order=desc&sort=relevance&q=" + encodeUrl(arguments) + "&accepted=True&site=stackoverflow";

"https://api.stackexchange.com/2"arguments" here is a string variable containing a Question.2/search/advanced?order=desc&sort=relevance&q=" + encodeUrl(arguments) + "&accepted=True&site=stackoverflow";

  • "arguments" here is a string variable containing a Question

But my question is, then what's the use of Apithe API key and other credentials? If there are advantages, can you please tell me how to send a request using credentials?
