This isn't a bad idea. Perhaps a textbox that you can simply search something like mse178439 (as opposed to having hundreds of checkboxes to chose from). Typing mse178 would bring up all the matches for mse178###, and a toggle-switch that lets your turn this on or off. The way to access this is to place a link in the site's footer, similar to how Advanced Flagging US does.
