"Better" apparently offers comparison to my competing offer, Sloshy the Thawman. I have to say having two bots for the same purpose is an unhappy situation; we should probably coordinate to let one or the other take over.
The detector seems to have stopped working for me, should I create a bug report? It flashes an ellipsis briefly when I click the "Detect OpenAI" link, but then nothing. The Javascript console shows "openai-detector:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'Y', "Your space"... is not valid JSON at JSON.parse (<anonymous>) at receiveOpenAIDetectionDataForButton (<anonymous>:62:25) at userscript.html?name=Stack%2520Exchange%252C%2520OpenAI%2520detector.user.js&id=93dddf2d-810f-485c-aadf-f10370b0623e:604:20"
Thanks, the first restart lost my login info entirely, but logging in and then restarting the app again finally brought in my avatar. Still no inbox, though (on the regular site I had three inbox notifications, all from this post.)
@PtitXav Yes, I logged in and it shows my reputation correctly, though I can't see my avatar (I'm guessing it doesn't try to?) When I switch to the main (posts) view the connection bolt immediately changes to indicate that I'm online. iPhone 12 mini, latest IOS (16.3.1)
+1 for getting inbox notifications. I installed the app today and I see questions etc; but the inbox remains empty, and every time I switch to this view, the ligthning bolt icon for network status changes to "not connected" so I see no messages. (At the time of writing I have four unread messages in my inbox.) This functionality was the sole reason I installed the app - the now defunct official app used to provide this, but obviously no longer works.
