Thanks for the script. It's cool and helpful.
When I try to comment more than once, the style header binds twice. Can you please fix it.
If it's matter:
Chrome Version 91.0.4472.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Add an ability to insert images in comments inline.
This is a well-known limitation of the comment box, and there have been multiple requests for this to be added dating back to 2011. Given that the closest workaround we have for it right now is to go to an answer box, insert an image there, then copy the link, and finally paste it back into ...
How do you remove a bookmark from a StackMark category?
Presumably I should be able to click the red trashcan to remove an entry, but it currently (v1.4) appears at the top right of the box where I can't reach it:
The installation process is slightly cumbersome: you have to copy the text from the script, then paste it into a new GreaseMonkey script. I've made a pull request changing the suffix to .user.js to allow GreaseMonkey to auto-detect the script.
Here is what I see (but maybe I am not looking at the right place):
After updating the script, creating a key, and a Ctrl + Shift + L (local storage) to enter said key:
Note: This step is no longer necessary since version 1.2+ includes an API key

After I have installed this userscript, I got the menu toolbar empty:
Also I have got this in the console:
jQuery.Deferred exception: t.find(...).unadornedButtonClick is not a function c@https://cdn.sstatic.net/Js/full.en.js?v=9fbfb8dc3749:9:7713
I like the idea, but I would prefer for it to be on the second column on my profile, like this:
Which IMHO looks much nicer than the current version:
Looking at the source of your script, this can be achieved changing this specific selector from this:
$('#user-card ul:not(.s-prose ul)').first().append(HTML);
$('#user-card ul:not(.s-prose ul):eq(-...
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me (I use Windows 10). I downloaded "Unminified", Version 1.3, then I opened the windows file explorer and double clicked on the file (6 KB). Then I get asked if I want to open the file, I say "yes" and then it says "microsoft jscript error 800A03EA". Is the tool supposed to be used differently?...
Just a simple recommendation (I do not particularly like the abbreviations):
could there be a table on hover, e.g:
* Like the Roomba Forecaster userscript.
The table can contain long details like "Answered the question", "Edited the question", etc.
Please do not use Ctrl + Shift + K as Keyboard Shortcut. In Firefox, When you click Ctrl + Shift + K, it opens developers tools console.
Check Firefox Shortcuts Documentation, Go to Opening and closing tools > Open Web Console.
Bug (When you press Ctrl + Shift + K):
The following is a 2021 update for the script. The core idea is the same to honor the original script, but there are several differences:
Added a Del shortcut for entering delete mode
No external dependencies used (rewritten without jQuery)
Works with both text messages and those that contain inline code
The new version can be used directly as a snippet or ...
Make it works in Stack Apps Exchange. Your userscript works on Stack Overflow but doesn't work in Stack Apps Exchange, so I prefer to use:
// @match *://*.askubuntu.com/*
// @match *://*.mathoverflow.net/*
// @match *://*.serverfault.com/*
// @match *://*.stackapps.com/*
// @match *://*.stackexchange.com/*
When I press Ctrl + L, it opens the modal, but when I repress Ctrl + L, it doesn't close it.
Simply, what I mean is that it could be toggled by clicking Ctrl + L.
I am not sure if this is by design but I think it is a feature request.
When I turn on your script, I see that it hide the first element of Hot Meta Posts in Sidebar, as below:
When I turn you script off, everything is fine:
I face this bug in 0.1 & 0.2 and I am using Firefox 90.0.2.
Could we enable this userscript in the edit page?
When I try to edit anything (either question or answer), I don't see the option to turn on/off.
Here is an example:
I am not sure if this is a bug or feature-request but I will tag as feature request anyway.
Edit categories name.
I can delete categories but also I want to edit name. So my proposal is to edit categories name as you might write them wrong or you want to change name later. and the button will be here:
Simply beside delete button.
Please add a way to search through these posts1.
Possible use cases:
Checking your recent comments (on either questions or answers) to see whether they are still up to date.
Checking whether or not some edits you made a while ago can be improved upon.
If you normally comment on (or edit) posts that you've seen, you can use ...
If the user has <3K, the "Close" link does nothing.
It would be better if the button was disabled for <3K users or led to a dialog explaining that the user needed 3K reputation to cast close and re-open votes.
Fixed in version 1.2.
It doesn't work on Firefox with Windows 10, there is no option in the text box:
I tried version 1.0 also. On closer inspection, I saw an error in the console:
Script error in [Greasemonkey script https://github.com/SpectricSO/stack-scripts/Tab4SE; version 1.1]:
ReferenceError: $ is not defined
The installation procedure is a little tedious: you must copy the script's text and paste it into a user script manager.
I've submitted a pull request to change the suffix to.user.js so that the user script manager can detect the script automatically
The problem is caching text in the categories name input, Like I have created a new category with name "Test", so when I create new category, I see "Test" is printed in the categories name input like so:
One caveat is that some moderator actions are directly linked to SO instead of the team, and then an admin will have to manually copypaste the /c/<teamname> part to perform that action. For example, the link in the screenshot below doesn't work. Note that 20 is the user ID of the user in question.
For posting comments, you need a request key for your application:
Applications should be registered on Stack Apps to get a request key. Request keys grant more requests per day, and are necessary for using access_tokens created via authentication.
You need to enable write access for your application. I think you can use this question as registered Stack ...
There seems to be a bug with paging. I'm getting this (cropped) when I go to my comments:
but I'm getting the exact same comments on the top when pressing the "2" for page 2. Only comments below the retained deleted comments seems to be paging.. sort of:
The new changes to the review queues, now live across the network, have completely broken the script. It now no longer:
Refreshes the page automatically
Automatically opens any queues with pending reviews
Switches to meta sites regularly
Has any visual indicator on the review queues:
