Why does this Stack Overflow API query return binary data?
I guess there are two problems:
Leaving out the opening %3C does show (different?) results, so why does that opening bracket have this effect?
With the opening angle bracket, this yields an ASP erro …

Has calling StackAuth changed for Apps?
Are you by any chance using POST?
For 1.0 this works. But not for 1.1 (though GET works fine for both 1.0 and 1.1).
(I have no idea if it should work though.)
