I am testing stack exchange API to post a comment to the test environment(https://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/3122/formatting-sandbox).I am providing the client_id and key for my current account.But the actual comment that is being posted is being posted with my previous account name not the current account name.

My previous account(which still exists) had an app with the same application domain and application website on the edit page of stack apps. I changed both the application domain and website and tested again but to no effect.I am really confused and curious as to why this is happening.Please help.

Note:I am able to see the no of users as 2 to my current accounts app .

  • I figured i had made a mistake here(cannot believe i made such an error). I had logged out of my account in stackexchange on chrome but was testing my webapp using firefox.I later found that i was logged into my previous account on firefox and so was getting the issue. – Can iSchool Mar 3 '15 at 16:59
