I am working on an R package that will allow posting Stack Overflow answers from the comfort of the R interactive console.
It will be hosted at github.com/robertzk/stackoverflow-r-companion -- although there is nothing there yet.

  • "Comfort" XD I look forward to seeing what you do with it. – Sean Allred Jul 21 '14 at 22:57
  • Ow, we should make this for every language. – PyRulez Aug 3 '14 at 11:49
  • FYI I am publishing a larger R wrapper for the API and may let this idea be a part of the library. Since that was 4 years ago and it's still blank files, I'll assume you don't mind but if you do please lemme know. Cheers. – Hack-R Jun 14 '18 at 23:32

@Hack-R Yeah, absolutely, go for it. It's not blank -- I have something on my local machine. But it's definitely not what I envisioned at this rate. Four years ago, wow. Talk about vaporware! Email me at rkrzyzanowski at gmail dot com – Robert K Jun 16 '18 at 15:16
  • @RobertK Thanks, sure! OK great, didn't know you had something locally. Maybe we can work together. I'm ironing out the implicit authentication flow now. It works but it's buggy, so I'm bug hunting as we speak. – Hack-R Jun 16 '18 at 16:28
