The beauty of version control is that you don't have to maintain separate version side-by-side, as your previous versions are always stored and available forever. | |

If your categorization modal was bound to the default bookmark icon rather than your own it would help move in such a direction. As a user with years of collecting them I currently have many pages of them in the current "dumb list" | |
