@Benjol: Also, I've notice your extract function works the same (HTML vs Markdown wise), shouldn't it be presented in markdown rather than HTML? It would be lighter in file-size, and much closer to the intended result.

I suggest you move your code into a well-organized GitHub repo. Then you can take advantage of the built-in Wiki and Issue manager to handle documentation and feature request/bugs. I've seen the gist, and it's very large, do you think you should separate your code into several files that work together? See the CV-pls Extension
