I'm a moderator on Arqade/Gaming.StackExchange! Besides my moderator duties, I also occasionally contribute to the Arqade Blog and write tools against the SE API. I enjoy video games, and I like helping people enjoy games as well.
On top of all that, I co-author (with my partner in crime EBongo) a blog about gaming and technology called Without the Sarcasm. Here are some recent items of interest:
- My guide to achievements in FC3: Blood Dragon!

StinkingBadges - Track your progress towards long-term badges Okay, I believe I found and fixed the bug. Can you try this again? There are only certain situations where this occurs, and having the same tag in the top 40 on 2 sites is one of them :) |

StinkingBadges - Track your progress towards long-term badges Hmm, it should clear out. I'll double check the logic, thanks. Also, since the "Generalist" queries come last, it's possible that it just hadn't updated yet, although it should blank prior to changing. |

StinkingBadges - Track your progress towards long-term badges Another small update this evening - Kevin added options to the top tag list query, so now more of your top tags should show up for the Generalist badge. Also, the tags look more like tags now than they did before. |

HTTP 500 error when calling /apps/{accessTokens}/de-authenticate with an access_token argument in GET Sounds good, will do. |

HTTP 500 error when calling /apps/{accessTokens}/de-authenticate with an access_token argument in GET Makes sense. Thanks for the fix. Should I pass the access_token as part of the GET parameters, so as to get the request properly tracked from a throttle perspective? Or can you guys do this from the access_token in the URL? I don't think it matters that much (throttle-wise, it's a tiny amount of the total requests) but I thought I'd ask anyhow. |
