comment StackTack, a JavaScript widget you can stick anywhere
@garbagecollector, Tumblr sanitized html IDs from any html I tried to put in a text post, so I updated the plugin to allow class-based IDs as well. See it in action here: zamtools.tumblr.com/post/1463290085/stacktack

@garbagecollector, I'm planning a 1.1 release soon which will allow for complete API urls. Currently the plugin makes too many assumptions about how the api path will be named.

I'm not very familiar with Wordpress plugins, but this tutorial digwp.com/2009/06/including-jquery-in-wordpress-the-right-way shows how to import jquery and run a script, so it should be theoretically possible to do at a low level. I'll look into it.

comment Not a real question – A Stack Exchange game
Haha, this is uncanny! I practically had the same idea, but in a Jeopardy format, and half-implemented it on App Engine before I switched jobs and ran out of time. Way to go!!!

comment MEHF - tool for quickly testing code snippets, with StackOverflow support
This is an all around good idea, I wouldn't limit this to just the Stack sites. Though I think a better name is in order.

I propose changing the name to StINQ or something equally clever.

The linking issues should be resolved as well as the tag styles. I plan to make a very explicit stylesheet override on any content within the container to ensure all content is unaffected by any more blog themes.

@Kevin, bitbucket.org/zamtools/stacktack/issue/2/… I've made a ticket for it and will be addressing this shortly.

Thanks Tony, it looks great in context. I noticed your wordpress theme is stomping on the tag styles, I'll have that fixed soon.

@TWith2Sugars, post a link as an answer if you've implemented it publicly. I'd love to see it in action.

Now targeting Stack API 1.0, the files will propagate on S3 in about 24 hours. Nothing broke and nothing changed, so don't expect any surprises (knock on wood)
