Can we not limit requests based on the first one? That's why I said "<" |

The API Key does not work If the first request was without a key, than your limit today is 300. |

Provide a “latest” version for apps that want to keep up Depending on complexity of the app, it is quite possible that breaking changes between minor (and even major) versions would be few and far between. Personally I would use a 1.n approach since minor versions should have very limited breaking changes. |

Sample Application: World's Worst StackOverflow Clone The app isn't really designed to be hosted. The best approach is to download the source and run it locally. I might drop it up on one of my public servers for a limited trial run to see how it goes. I'll post update this page with a link once I do. |

Official Status Site/Page/Banner Wasn't me, but I assume it's because the question is "Can we please have?" rather than "Why does mine not work?" |

Keep getting HTTP 406 On my home network this was caused by my ISP's web acceleration proxy. I found a way to bypass the proxy, but it may be more difficult in a corporate environment. |

Is there a way of querying how much of the API limit has been used? I thought that was the case. |

What are the best tools to use for inspecting JSON? @Greg. It's a supported SA parameter. I'll add it to docs FAQ. |

Official Status Site/Page/Banner @Franci, I am getting a 406, but my request is still valid. |

Official Status Site/Page/Banner Oh definitely not a manual status site. I'm talking about something more automated. I could just write one that pings the API every 30 seconds or so, but it would be nice to have an official status exposed in this site. |

API key limit increase support Don't worry @Franci. I'll take this hit for you, but I expect you to take the next one. :-P |
