My name is Benjamin Dumke-von der Ehe. I am Stack Overflow Valued Associate #00007, which is just a confusing way of saying that I work as a developer for Stack Exchange.

I am @balpha on Twitter. My blog's "about" page explains the origin of my user name.

I am the creator of Unicornify, the service that gives you these lovable creatures:

I also created Lyfe, a small library adding yield-based generators to JavaScript, and Not a Real Question, a little game that's played with data from various Stack Exchange sites.

I sometimes have a strange sense of humor, but I also like to explain things I fix, break, care about, or come up with.

If you select a post and then press "?", does "C" appear in the list of available keys?

Weird. The only difference between the two of us is the Chrome version then. I'm on 36. By the way: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/237166/…

Hmm, works for me. Are you using any other user scripts that may be interfering?

Hmm I was just going to fix this, but I can't even reproduce it. Is it still happening? (FWIW, you weren't the only one reporting this)

Yep, I figured that change would break a lot of user scripts, including that one.

comment Better handling of indentation and the TAB key when editing posts
@joeytje50 What the Esc key is there for -- it cancels the editing. Same as clicking the "cancel" link. Note that I'm talking about editing, not suggesting edits; the latter has no cancel link because it doesn't need one (since it doesn't happen inline, but on a new page).

comment Better handling of indentation and the TAB key when editing posts
@joeytje50 Esc already has a meaning during editing, so this is out of the question.

@MartinSchröder You can update now; it's fixed in the new version.

@MartinSchröder Yeah, there's an interference with the Winter Bash javascript. I'll fix that later today.
