@neilfein Regarding following (and most other features), I sadly don't have a lot of time for that. New exciting job. I'll try to get back to this when I get a free weekend. (And I welcome collaborators, of course.)

2) Another trick: if you hover your mouse over notification, it won't disappear until you move the mouse away.

2) Display time can be configured in growl: System Preferences -> Growl -> Display Options -> notification type (e.g. Bubbles) -> duration

@ViTo Yes. You can post an application, but not release its code. This app has closed sources, for example.

@ViTo Note, that MIT license actually do allow redistribution (and a lot of other things) If you don't want anybody to change your code, it might be easier to just not release it.
