My operating system of choice is Ubuntu, though I also dual-boot Windows. By profession, I am a software developer and I work with C++, Python, and (more recently) Go. I enjoy tinkering with different things like motion tracking in Blender, creating an Android app for time-lapse photography, or writing Linux kernel modules.

- NitroShare - a cross-platform network file transfer utility
- REST Easy - Firefox add-on for analyzing HTTP responses

comment Does Stack Apps have some special rep and Community Wiki modifications?
I've never seen the two-line format for question titles. Are you sure that's not a bug?

comment API v2.1 supports write access, but is anyone using it?
Well, and my app uses an undocumented route as well. I won't say anything more than that, however.

I wrote a similar script a long time back but later abandoned it. I like the style of yours.

comment Looking for a CLI app with write support?
Not quite - I have an app that uses an unofficial version of the API to do this: stackapps.com/questions/3552/…

comment Stack.PHP - Powerful and Extensive Library for Accessing the Stack Exchange API - Including Full Support for v2.0.
@Undo: Perhaps something like this: $response = API::Site('stackoverflow')->Comments()->Exec(); Then you can loop over them with while($comment = $response->Fetch(FALSE)) { ....

comment Ask Ubuntu Toolbar Buttons - A set of toolbar buttons for Ask Ubuntu that make it easy to insert links to packages, PPAs, etc.
@halirutan: That's so weird. I have had similar problems before and thought I had already fixed that one. I'll take another look when I get a chance.

comment Ask Ubuntu Toolbar Buttons - A set of toolbar buttons for Ask Ubuntu that make it easy to insert links to packages, PPAs, etc.
@halirutan: Right - I spent a long time playing around with the Chrome Inspector before I figured that one out. Eventually I'm thinking of creating a JavaScript library with a bunch of functions for doing common things on Stack Exchange pages - like creating toolbar buttons, inserting text into the editor, and creating popup boxes. Then UserScripts can just include the library.

As a server-side library, Stack.PY does not cover implicit auth. Pretty much everything else is fully accessible through the library.

Actually, printing a question will print the title by default. So you can do: print question instead of print question.title.
