My operating system of choice is Ubuntu, though I also dual-boot Windows. By profession, I am a software developer and I work with C++, Python, and (more recently) Go. I enjoy tinkering with different things like motion tracking in Blender, creating an Android app for time-lapse photography, or writing Linux kernel modules.

- NitroShare - a cross-platform network file transfer utility
- REST Easy - Firefox add-on for analyzing HTTP responses

@RPi Version 1.5.2 was just released and uses version 2.2 of the API. It's in the PPA and I think it got backported.

@Andy: in theory, it should. I'm using the ask question method on my own website. I haven't done a lot of testing, however.

@Thomas: Actually, I'll probably be rewriting it in Python since I've all but abandoned PHP development and moved to Python now.

comment StackExchange™ SuperCollider Freehand Circle™ Editor - [Now supported on EVERY StackExchange site!]
I think this post will need to simply become historical. I don't have the time to maintain the script anymore and it never really served a tangibly practical purpose.

comment Stack.PY - A Python Module for Accessing the Stack Exchange 2.1 API
@Andy: Good question. How this is supposed to work is that you call some_se_site.users.me.access_token('12345'). Unfortunately, the me attribute is mysteriously missing from the source code. I am planning to rewrite this library within the next couple of months, so I will make sure this is added to the list of things to fix.

@lifebalance: That was an example using Django. You will need to use whatever web framework you are using to get the value of the 'code' GET parameter.

@RPi: I would honestly love to release a package for OS X but I don't have access to a Mac for testing. That being said, if you have GTK+ and PyGTK installed, it should run out-of-the-box.

Do you mean that it alternates between the pointer (the hand) and the arrow?

comment API v2.1 supports write access, but is anyone using it?
Correct. It is an undocumented API method.

I've never seen the two-line format for question titles. Are you sure that's not a bug?

comment API v2.1 supports write access, but is anyone using it?
Well, and my app uses an undocumented route as well. I won't say anything more than that, however.
