Why not use this to add the button? It preserves the integrity of other buttons, and ensures that a button does not get added twice (for example, when in the review section, it will only add the buttons to the editors which don't have it. //params: text: text of button //params: callback: a function which takes id of textarea as argument(useful in review ...

Fantastic addition to the site, hands down. I just browsed for half an hour with nothing but the keyboard. Took about 10 minutes to get accustomed to the controls Voting is a snap, and I feel more likely to vote on more answers because I can quickly zip through them without reaching for my mouse Easier to get a comment or answer started The only ...

Inheriting indention when pressing enter What I'd like to suggest is that if you press enter, the indentation is copied from the line you're coming from, and then automatically put before the next line. This would make it a bit easier to type out code on SO. Of course this would create the problem that people who would want to end their code would be ...

Place to dump list of all mathjax sites. I will take a look at these and determine which configuration to give to each one, and if they need extra buttons. http://stats.stackexchange.com Dollars (Implemented 1.0.3) http://meta.stats.stackexchange.com Ditto http://math.stackexchange.com Dollars only(implemented) ...

This uses the jQuery .on(...) feature which is only available in 1.7 and up. Careers is still using an older version and you get an exception on every page right now with this installed. We will be updating soon, but it would be nice if you could add a config page to turn it on/off for each site.

bugstatus-completed When you are viewing a question list that updates via the live question bar ("N question(s) with new activity") and you use the mouse to click and load the new question(s), then the JS model as seen by the keyboard shortcut code is not updated. As a result, the newly loaded questions cannot be navigated over. Thus, U goes to the ...

feature-request I love keyboard navigation, +1 to infinity for this feature! I have but one request: I usually open up questions in a new tab, from the newest or active questions pages, for example. Normally, on Mac, I'd hold down the ⌘ (command) key while clicking on the link, or use the TAB key to shift focus to the link and use ⌘-ENTER to open the link ...

I have peculiar issue with script somehow inserting itself into editors on completely unrelated sites. It seems to especially love to wreck WordPress and Basecamp posts. Here is screenshot from my local WP development site, right after adding new post and switching to code view: Opera 12.16, Win7x64

bugstatus-completed After loading newly-posted answers with F they are not navigable with the J and K keys. Only items already loaded with the page are keyboard-navigable.

bug With the new comment format rolled out, comment loading is now broken. C no longer triggers comment loading. This looks like a conflict with AutoReviewComments - Pro-forma comments for SE, disabling the extension brings back the functionality.

feature-request Can I get a way to configure which keys do what? I like to have all the most commonly used keys clustered in one place: it's hard to use SO with a drink in my hand if I have to use both hands to do anything.

feature-request Using Shift-ENTER opens questions in a new tab. However, the same does not apply to the other options. Could this be extended to any of the options that load a new page? So, hit i for inbox, then Shift-1 to open the first inbox message in a new tab. Preferably, I'd still like to see this using the native 'open in new tab' modifier key (CMD ...

Great script! However, I've got a bug report: On Electrical Engineering, where the $ button creates \$ braces (thanks for that exception, by the way), the SansSerif button still creates $ braces, which do not work. I'm not sure what makes the Sans Serif font look so bad, it may be an issue with the configuration on my machine. Don't worry about that, ...

Full list of supported buttons: Buttons used in many sites Dollarify ($) Encloses selection in $...$ Enabled on all supported sites Keyboard shortcut: Alt-M Works differently on electronics.SE (gives \$...$\ because these people talk about money as well and mathjax needs escaping) Double Dollarify ($$) Encloses selection in $$...$$ Enabled on all ...

Version history: 1.0 1.0.1: Fix the \ce{} highlighting bug. It now highlights properly even when you haven't selected anything. (Makes it useful to just hit Alt-C/whatever and start typing the formula) 1.0.2: Add electronics.SE (with config $,$$,SI--special treatment of $ due to EE.SE requiring backslashes). Also crypto.SE (config $,$$, O--big O notation) ...

I've added a fix to point 3 over here (it's forked) It deals with <kbd>[selected text]</kbd> and [<kbd>text</kbd>], where the [] denotes selection. It will not deal with wierd stuff like <kb[d>text</kbd>]. (Could be done using regexes)
