This is just plain awesome! I could go on with this all day. Here are some of "my" quotes (from Meta):

One margin is enough!
The defining characteristic of mobile screens is that they are small; every pixel counts! A design with two margins is wasteful (and also adds extra visual noise).

Pre-Release Public Distribution Review
Don't let this list scare you. Most of the items are minor annoyances or suggestions for improvement. I believe I found just 1 bug. Overall, the app feels polished. It is easy to use. The UI and general flow of the app makes sense. Nice work!
I've separated items by view in hopes of some form of organization.

On the legal stuff,
Looking at your screen shots, your application looks good to me.
The purpose of the guidance in StackApps is to encourage people to diversify their apps and make them really kick ass on their platform. I know the issue is confusing but we are trying to steer people away from "I'm just gonna clone the website" or "I'm going to write the ...

Using More Than One Site Per Page
See Maxim Z's original question here.
The StackTack plugin doesn't need to select the entire document to work, you can feed it any selection you like.
$('div').stacktack();
The only requirement for an element to become a Tack is to have a valid StackTack ID. This affords you the ability to isolate Tacks to a certain ...

When questions get downvoted I want to see a tie-fighter scream in and hit the question with the appropriate number of laser bolts.
The question should display the appropriate amount of distress as related to the number of downvotes.
When a question is closed it should explode in a blaze of glory.
That would get some face time from me!

Posting On Tumblr
I have recently updated the StackTack plugin to allow class-based Stack IDs to be used in situations where IDs can't be added to your html. This makes it possible to post Tacks on Tumblr now because classes are not sanitized from html posts on their service.
Customize Your Theme
Log into Tumblr and go to your dashboard.
On the right, ...

It would be much more convenient if you implemented automatic posting using a blogging API. It looks like most popular blog engines support the new blogger API (Wordpress, Blogger(duh), Drupal, MoveableType, etc...)

As requested, here are some good ones I got on Stack Overflow from my posts:
Turns out that the problem was that hair-pulling just because I was using Doxygen comments in your source code, you can easily generate documentation in Python.
In the application. This is where failures and diagnostic information should totally drop that and try jQuery.

Version 5
(Finally) updated to API version 1.0
Now using the StackWrap4J library (thanks to @Bill the Lizard and @jjnguy for helping me with the teething problems)
StackAuth support (drop-down list of StackExchange sites is pulled from StackAuth dynamically)

My experience with the October and November 2010 data dumps importing to MSSQL.
The latest data dump requires that you do a couple of things in order to use this.
Rename the folders.
The format of the folder needs to be MMYYYY Schema.
So, for the Web Apps data dump, I have 2 folders, 112010 WA and 112010 MWA.
The database tables will be ...

EDIT: Implemented using Web Sockets (because the caching characteristics of the API does not allow real-time notifications). I created a Chrome extension and Firefox add-on, and created a Stack Apps listing at Real-time desktop notifications for Stack Exchange inbox.
In Google Chrome, the popup is closed when performing an action outside it (clicking, ...

I updated several aspects of the app in response to user feedback:
Error handling is somewhat better (it will now tell you if your token is invalid, instead of a generic "error" alert)
Queued API calls are aborted now, which should speed up site changing, among other things.
There's now an option to deauthorize the app, should you decide to revoke its ...

Very good. I've been looking for something simple like this for a while. Thanks. As potential future features;
Growl integration would be great
An option to temporarily disable notifications (i.e. when you want to get some work done and don't want to get distracted by revisiting your answers etc!)
A 'run on startup' option
Maybe have the default menubar ...

Thee is now a wiki page on GitHub showing usage examples. I've committed the code and will be cleaning it up and commenting it soon.
The features I had planned from the beginning are now fully implemented. Here's a list of features:
Combined flair stats
Single site support
Html output
Image output
Exclude beta sites
Better url support
Themes

I think that we should be able to specify the API endpoint/site inside per-question options.
Currently, the site can only be specified in global options. This means that all questions have to be from one Stack Exchange site.
I think it'd be better if it would be possible to set a global site and then be able to set a per-question site that overrides the ...

Addons
Stackprinter allows you to print directly from Stack Exchange sites using Greasemonkey script or an handy bookmarklet.
Greasemonkey script adds a Printer-Friendly button to the question you are browsing (Firefox and Chrome both supported).
Bookmarklet is useful if Greasemonkey is not an option and has the same effect of Printer-Friendly button, ...

Hey Simon.
Interesting idea but, in my opinion, given the vast array of topics, for something like this to be engaging you will need to provide a tag selector at the least.
Maintaining a local index of tags, updated daily perhaps, to feed a work-alike tag selector as available on SE sites would be my next step.

bug
It doesn't currently seem to recognise Gaming's new election correctly.
It doesn't show up as an active election, but the Gaming option in the "Completed Elections" section actually does load the current election so it's sort of working - it makes it hard to find, and also means we can't access the previous election any more (at least, I can't find ...

If there is enough interest, I will do the work to get this to compile and run on Mono for the LAMP folks.
update:
I see a little interest.
I am currently focusing my free time, free as in beer as I am currently without job (hint, big freakin hint), on polishing http://soapi.info and it's offerings.
A bit more interest and I will carve out a day to make ...

I hate to rain on the parade, but programmatic writing to the Stack Exchange sites pre-write API isn't supported.
While we can't forbid you from trying, you need to be aware that the instant someone uses a similar technique nefariously we're going to come down like a sack of bricks on it.
I also know we've seen some more-successful-than-usual bots ...

In my opinion, the icon is too large at 24 x 24. Other Firefox toolbar icons are 16 x 16. I used the following CSS in my userChrome.css file to make it the correct size:
.stackalert-button *
{
width: 24px !important;
height: 16px !important;
}

I like the current logos of SENotifier, but, I was bored, and decided to have a go at making some SENotifier logos as well. And, well, here they are! Tell me if you like them, or any comments! I don't know if the pictures will keep their formatting, though. Oh well.

Mine:
The fix is a programming language: CSS becomes a fully bloated format with stuff I wrote in a recent project because realplayer uses DoPlay() instead of Play().
Instead, I've experimented until I've come up what to fix. At least it's better than hammering F5.
You should warn the user before he begins using the system.
I'm very happy to confirm the ...

Update v2.2
Fixed a bug that showed "undefined" on the add button in some instances

Thanks for letting me try out the pre-release! Here is my feedback:
Overall design could be improved - I guess you already know that, though. What especially annoys me is the icon.
adamw : Oh, I know - especially about the icon. But damnit Jim, I'm a programmer, not an artist. And despite the plethora of open source code for people who can't/don't have ...

Its really broken right now. I as @Basic mentioned auto-complete drop-down disappears after the first key press.
And also after submitting I too got same exception System.Exception: Favicon file does not exist, see image attached.
Please try to fix it as its really awesome idea.

I've been asked to post my use of this app publicly so here it is: http://blog.tonywilliams.me.uk/clickonce-manifest-problem-with-net-4/
Must say it's a pretty good app that I plan on using a lot more.
