Stack Apps is a question and answer site for apps, scripts, and development with the Stack Exchange API. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am a regular answerer on StackOverflow and I have been trying to use my Android phone for my workflow, but unfortunately the mobile Web application is very cumbersome to use: for example, the answer/comment box often gets obscured by the on-screen keyboard, so I don't see what I type.

Is there any offering of an app specifically geared towards answerers? It is easy to find various read-only apps, but I have so far been unable to find something good for my use case.

The API is read-only (except for comments), so an app for this would have to use screen scraping. Instead, you could probably gin up a userscript that could solve your problem -- using CSS/jQuery to manipulate the display. –  Brock Adams Jun 3 '13 at 10:58

I'd recommend posting about the issues you have with the mobile web interface on Meta Stack Overflow, by the way. –  Tim Stone Jun 3 '13 at 11:24
